James Charles Love, age 77, entered into rest August 20, 2018 in Festus, Missouri. Born October 14, 1940, in Carmi, IL, to the late Marion Charles and Vivian Elizabeth (Kelly) Love. James was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a talented and celebrated chef for St Louis Athletic Club, the Fox Theater, Algonquin County Club and Bob Plager's Restaurant; he enjoyed, adorned in full Confererate Army uniform, being a greeter on the Robert E. Lee Dinner Boat in Kimmswick.
Survived by his loving family which includes a son, James K. (Bonnie) Love of Imperial, MO, daughters, Roxanne (Larry) Epley of Valles Mines, MO, Kimberly (Denny) White of Imperial, MO, Debra Love of Imperial, MO, sister, Mary Joann (David) Ehlen of Imperial, MO, grandchildren, Buddy (Brittany) Reno of Springhill, TN, Ryan Love of Imperial, MO, Shaun Love of Festus, MO and Cassandra White of Imperial, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Scheid) Love on July 1, 2011, brothers, Harold and Robert Love, sister, Beverly Bubb and special uncle, Everett Love.
