Edward L. Acey, Sr, age 91, formerly of DeSoto, Missouri, entered into rest February 3, 2017 in St Louis, Missouri. He had retired as a high lift operator and was a U.S. Army veteran during WW II. He enjoyed John Wayne movies, train shows, family get-togethers and watching TV. Born March 19, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to the late Earl and Donnie (Kern) Acey, Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife: Bernice (Sebaugh) Acey on November 12, 2016.
Survived by his loving family which includes: sons: Edward (the late Linda) Acey of DeSoto, MO and Gary (Mai) Acey of DeSoto, MO; daughters: Linda (the late David) Wright of Imperial, MO, Donna (the late Steve) Good of Pevely, MO and Vicki (Maness) of DeSoto, MO; sisters: Mary Kovak of St Louis, MO and Ruth of Arnold, MO; 6 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers: John Acey and Earl Acey, Jr and grandson: Nick Harbison.
