Joetta Kay Cornett, 62, of De Soto entered into eternal rest on July 6, 2015 at her residence. Joetta was self employed and owner of the Spotted Horse Antiques Collectibles & Gifts Shop on Main Street De Soto. She was a member of De Soto Historical Society, life member of the Girl Scouts, member of American Smithsonian Society, and an eclectic collector. She enjoyed being outdoors and did some Native American studies. Born in Jefferson City, Missouri on July 12, 1952; she was the daughter of the late Joe Wayne and Virginia (Nee Plemmons) Davis.
She was the loving wife of 27 years to her husband, William "Bob" Cornett; dear mother of William Kyle Cornett of De Soto, Robert Andrew (wife, Sarah) Cornett of Kansas City, Missouri and Janae Smith of Mountain View, California.
Rev. Gene Moses will officiate the memorial service.
