Edward Shelton, age 93, entered into rest
December 6, 2013 at his DeSoto residence. He was a heavy equipment operator at Alpha-Portland Cement Corporation; he loved talking to people, hunting, fishing, woodworking and the outdoors. Born February 20, 1920, in Glencoe, Missouri, to the late Ausby and Edna (Null) Shelton.
Survived by his family which includes his dear companion, Judy Glamann of DeSoto, MO; sons: Jerry (Carol) Shelton of Pevely, MO, Willie (Kathy) Shelton of Mineral Point, MO, Tony (Gina Voyles) Glamann of Festus, MO; daughters: Edna (Gene) Karius of St Louis, MO and Robin (Jonathan Ventimiglia) Francis of DeSoto, MO; brother, Johnny (Jeanne) Shelton of Cedar Hill, MO; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers: George Shelton and Ausby Shelton, Jr; and sisters: Margaret Brown, Mary Lee Walka, Irene Shelton and Virginia Shelton.
His wishes was to make an anatomical body donation to St Louis University School of Medicine.
