Obituary
Denver Lee Heverns, 69, of DeSoto, passed away on December 22, 2012 at Des Peres Hospital. Born on September 16, 1943 at Teresita, Missouri; he was the son of the late Walker and Edith (nee Barton) Heverns. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cathleen (nee Upchurch) Heverns.

Mr. Heverns was a press operator for GKN Aerospace Corporation in St. Louis. He loved and enjoyed his family, friends, fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Peace Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Hillsboro.

Mr. Heverns is also survived by two sons, Daniel Lee (Leslie) Heverns, Fort Riley, KS and Joseph F. (Jo Ann) Heverns, DeSoto; three grandchildren, Cameron, Katelynn and Brook; three brothers, Roy (Kathy) Heverns, Dean Heverns and Carl Heverns, all of Birch Tree, MO; four sisters, Audrey (Rodney) Hart, Whiteboro, TX, Evelyn (Ben) Wisebrode, West Plains, MO, Alice (Al) Townson, West Plains, MO and Norma (Mike) Howell of Eminence, MO. Family members preceding Mr. Heverns in death are his parents, a son, Benjiman E Heverns.

Clergies officiating the funeral service are Sr. Pastor Rudy Theissen and Pastor Tim Theissen.
